Profile
Emerald just loves tongue twisters. Her favorite one is "Susie and Sam sell seashells down by the seashore." And if she bumps into you, she'll probably ask you to say it 10 times fast, so be prepared!

231 Emerald is a Series 4 Animal Crossing-e Character Card. It can be scanned in Animal Crossing at the e-Reader Transfer Machine in the post office to receive a letter and gift from Emerald, or on the Game Boy Advance by itself to display a different letter. The password on the card can also be sent in a letter to receive a letter and gift.

Scanning in Animal Crossing[edit]

Scanning this card at the e-Reader Transfer Machine in the post office causes Emerald to immediately send the player a letter that contains a kitchen tile. The letter reads:

Hi-dee-ho, <player>,
You can call me Emerald
bemerald tee-elligo-femerald,
tee-legged tie-legged bow
legged demerald. It's my
nickname. What's yours?

Later tater, Emerald

Mailing the password[edit]

Typing the password printed on the card into a letter and mailing it to any villager causes Emerald to send the player a letter that contains a green bench after two more days of playing. The letter reads:

The dashing <player>,
You must tell meーis there
anything that you're totally
obsessed with? You know,
that you're collecting? I'm
all about green furniture!
It's so swampalicious!

From Emerald

If the player mails the password to Emerald specifically, there is a 60% chance they will instead send them a different letter with one of eight NES games: Balloon Fight, Clu Clu Land, DK Jr MATH, Donkey Kong, Excitebike, Golf, Pinball, or Tennis.

Scanning on the Game Boy Advance[edit]

Scanning this card while the Game Boy Advance is not connected to Animal Crossing displays the following message from Emerald:

If you have a hard
time with tongue
twisters, try this
little exercise.
Say, "Lips and teeth
and tip of tongue,"
over and over again
until you're bushed.
Then stretch your lips
in every possible
direction. That will
warm you up, sproing!
