Animal Crossing: City Folk
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Mood Calming
Time 2:00 A.M. - 2:59 A.M.

2 A.M. has a nighttime electric piano with an accordion that plays near the middle. It is calming and homey and has a drum kit with shaker sounds and a subtle wood block. There is a cover of it in Super Smash Bros. Brawl that has a lively drum kit and is very bright, as if a party had been still going on. 2 A.M. is also the name of a song by K.K. Slider, found only in the Animal Crossing: Wild World OST. This is the only "hourly" song that has ever received a cover.

In Animal Crossing for GameCube, the 2 A.M. theme is very upbeat and unusual for that time. Compared to the other 2 A.M. themes, it sounds like the complete opposite song.

In the original game, the music for 2 A.M. shares a motif with several of the other hourly themes, including 5 P.M., albeit partially.
