Deletion of pages in this category[edit]

The pages in this category are not official item groupings, and are all stubs. I'm proposing to delete them all. The tables might be moved to Clothes, which should probably get an overhaul to list all the clothes in the Animal Crossing series and/or link to lists by game. Official clothing groupings can be found at Look. Sunmarshsignature.png (talk) 14:59, December 10, 2019 (EST)

Most of them actually have tables for each game, this definitely needs to be moved if the pages were deleted. Sunmarshsignature.png (talk) 15:02, December 10, 2019 (EST)
A lot of the clothes-related pages need to be overhauled in general, similar to project furniture. The good news is that I think all the appropriate templates are set up (see {{TableHeader}}), so all what it takes is just patience to compile from known resources. There's a small example in this article and an incomplete list of themed items of how it can be done. For the time being, I think we should just make an article on the different kinds of tops (shirts, tees, tanks, all three having separate pages) and relocate the images there. Since this category's member pages still haven't been improved or deleted in the nine months since this discussion left off (plus the fact that they are not official clothing groups), I'm re-proposing the deletion of the pages in this category and the movement of their contents to lists by games as stated above by sunmarsh. ~ AlexBot2004 (Talk) 00:37, August 11, 2020 (EDT)

Still in support of this, although it seems like the current method of implementation for a 'list of clothing by game' would be to first create the individual item pages/set up the cargo store and then generate the master table from the stored data. So we can move the data/tables we have to the placeholder 'list of clothing by game' pages, but they will probably end up being replaced and their data potentially unused/deleted, depending on the methods used to compile the source info for the older AC games. If the current Animal Crossing data-mining project is any indication of how this process will unfold in the future, I would expect data to be taken from the game files directly as opposed to collected from existing online sources and guides.
