Red Pikmin Hat[edit]

The Red Pikmin Hat

The red Pikmin hat was released to commemorate the release of the New Play Control! Pikmin 2 game. The hat was first released, in Japan, on December 24th, 2008, and was distributed internationally on March 25th, 2009. Once the Player has received the hat, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 400 Bells.

The Chocolate Heart was available in Japan from February 14th through February 26th, 2009 for Valentines Day.

Shamrock Hat[edit]

The Shamrock Hat

The Shamrock Hat was released to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. It was distributed to North American and European games on March 17th until March 30th, 2009. It is considered to be one of the game's Lucky Items. Once the Player has received the hat, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 1,600 Bells.

Nintendo DSi[edit]

The Nintendo DSi Bench

The Nintendo DSi seat, or bench, was distributed to North American and European editions of the game. There are two versions, a white one (sent to European games) and a black one (sent to North American games). It was released to celebrate to launch of the new Nintendo DSi handheld console, the predecessor of the Nintendo DS Lite. It was available between April 3rd to April 16th, 2009. In 2010, North American players had received the item again, with a white DSi distributed. Once the Player has received the Nintendo DSi, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 18,900 Bells.

Flamenco Set[edit]

The Flamenco Set

The Flamenco Set was distributed as two items, the Flamenco Dress and the Flamenco Hat. These items were distributed as part of the Feria De Abril event, which is a fair in Spain. The items were only distributed to European players. The set was available from April 24th to May 3rd, 2009.

The first item distributed was the PRO design flamenco dress. It is given to the Player by Wendell, who waits outside the player's home. He will grab the player's attention and ask the player to have a look at a new design he has created. By agreeing to see the outfit will prompt the player to replace a current design with it. The flamenco hat is received after receiving the flamenco dress, by talking to Pete after leaving the house. Once the Player has received the hat, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 1,600 Bells.

The letter reads:

It's festival time in the

The Model Bus

The Model Bus was distributed to North America and Europe as part of the Teacher's Day celebrations. It is a model replica of the bus that takes the player to and from the City. It was made available between May 5th until May 19th, 2009. Once the Player has received the model, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 3,200 Bells.

Green Headgear[edit]

The Green Headgear

The green headgear was distributed to European versions of Animal Crossing: City Folk. It was released for the run-up of the Nintendo Wii game, Punch-Out!!. The headgear is similar to the Little Mac's, and the hair color depends on the Player's hair color. It was made available between May 22nd until June 5th, 2009. Once the Player has received the headgear, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 800 Bells.

The Mayor's Flag Design

The Mayor's flag was made available in North America from June 14th through June 21st, 2009 for Flag Day. As it is a design delivered by Wendell, there is no letter received.

Sandcastle[edit]

The Sandcastle

The Sandcastle was distributed to Europe as the winning entry of the Summer Competition held by Nintendo Europe. It was released during the summer and was made available between June 21st through July 5th, 2009. Once the Player has received the item, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 400 Bells.

The Ladder shades were distributed to North American games from June 23rd through June 30th, 2009. The shades were released again on August 5th to August 12th, 2009 due to a technical problem during the first distribution.

The hotdog hat was distributed from July 4th through July 18th 2009. It was made available for Independence Day in North America.

Dolphin Model[edit]

The Dolphin Model

The Dolphin model was distributed in America from July 20th to August 3rd 2009, celebrating the 40th anniversary of humans landing on the moon. It is a blue version of Captain Olimar's ship from the Nintendo game, Pikmin. Once the Player has received the item, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 8,000 Bells.

Eiffel Tower[edit]

The Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower lamp was distributed to European players for Bastille Day in France, which celebrates the storming of the Bastille prison which played a major role in the French Revolution. It was released and made available between July 14th and July 27th, 2009. Once the Player has received the item, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 4,000 Bells.

The GameCube Chest

The GameCube Chest was distributed to North American and European players to celebrate the 7th anniversary of Animal Crossing on the Nintendo GameCube. It was available between August 15th to August 29th, 2009 in Europe and September 15th to September 29th, 2009 in North America. Once the Player has received the item, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 1,500 Bells.

The Dirndl dress was released in Europe from September 19th through October 2nd, 2009. Wendell delivered the pro design in honor of Oktoberfest in Germany.

Pile of Leaves[edit]

The pile of leaves was distributed for autumn and was available from September 25th to October 9th, 2009. Once placed in the home, the player can walk through it and it will make crunching sounds. Once the Player has received the item, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 400 Bells.

The Chihuahua puppy was the second Nintendog to be distributed. The Chihuahua is a short-haired white/cream Chihuahua. It was made available between October 14th to October 20th, 2009. Once the Player has received the puppy, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 2,800 Bells.

The Dachshund

The Dachshund puppy was the third Nintendog to be distributed. The Dachshund is a long-haired chocolate Dachshund, which is in a stretching position. It was made available between October 21st to October 27th, 2009. Once the Player has received the puppy, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 2,800 Bells.

The Dalmatian was the last Nintendog to be distributed. The Dalmatian puppy is a typical Dalmatian; short-haired with dominant white hair and black sports. Its position looks as though it may start chasing its tail. It was available between the October 28th to November 3rd, 2009. Once the Player has received the puppy, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 2,800 Bells.

It was distributed in North America from November 15th to November 24th, 2009. In the United Kingdom it was available between December 5th until December 21 st, 2009. Once the Player has received the item, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 4,000 Bells.

Tam O'Shanter[edit]

The Tam O'Shanter

The Tam O'Shanter was distributed from January 25th to February 1st 2010. In Scotland, Burns Night is a special night that celebrates the birth of its most famous poet, Robert Burns. The Tam o'Shanter is named for one of Burns' best known poems.

Guard Helmet and Uniform[edit]

In North America, the player will receive the PRO design called the guard's uniform and a letter containing the guard's helmet.

In Europe, the player received a letter signed by Labelle and delivered by Pete. It is a piece of furniture that matches the Gracie's Series of furniture that can be bought in GracieGrace in the City during the Spring. It was distributed from May 3rd until May 10th. It can be sold to Tom Nook for 10,000 Bells and bought for 40,000 Bells once received.

The letter reads:
