The following is a list of events in Doubutsu no Mori+.
Doubutsu no Mori+ introduces many minor events hosted by Tortimer, who appears at the shrine and gives the player an item related to the event when spoken to. Many of the events are based on Japanese public holidays and were reworked, replaced, or removed in Animal Crossing.
January[edit]
- Fukubukuro (January 1–3) — Tom Nook's store sells grab bags, which can contain a furniture, clothing, wallpaper, carpet, or pinwheel. Crazy Redd's also appears in town.
- Winter campers (each day from January 2 – February 24) — Each day, a villager living in town sets up an igloo in town. Inside, the player can play minigames that involve either the player buying an item from them, or vice-versa. In addition to common items, the villagers can sell the player eight exclusive items.
- Seven Herbs Day (January 7) — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player a weed model.
- Adulthood Day (second Monday of January) — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player a tailor model.
February[edit]
- Winter campers (each day from January 2 – February 24) — See January section.
- Bean-Throwing Day (February 3) — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player a bean-throwing set.
- Hometown Day (February 11) — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player one of 15 station models.
- Valentine's Day (February 14) — Female villagers send male players letters with gifts that vary based on their friendship with them.

- Hinamatsuri (March 3) — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player a lovely phone.
- White Day (March 14) — Male villagers send female players letters with gifts that vary based on their friendship with them.
- Spring Day (March 20 or 21)[nb 1] — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player a tailor model.
April[edit]
- Cherry Blossom Festival (April 5–7) — Villagers gather around tatami mats at the shrine alongside Tortimer, who gives the player a pink tree model. Additionally, from April 1 to 8, trees turn pink, and from April 5 to 8, cherry-blossom petals fall from the sky.
- Spring Sports Fair (April 20) — Villagers compete in four events at the shrine throughout the day. Tortimer also appears and gives the player a spring championship pennant.
- Fresh Verdure Day (April 29) — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player a tree model.
May[edit]
- Garbage Memorial Day (May 3) — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player a dump model.
- Children's Day (May 5) — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player a locomotive model. Additionally, windsocks appear around town from April 20 to May 5.
June[edit]
- Summer Fishing Tourney (each Sunday in June) — Chip appears at the lake to host a fishing competition in which the player competes with villagers to catch the largest bass (either small bass, bass, or large bass). If the player has the record by the end of the event, Chip mails them a Redd- or raffle-exclusive furniture item. Tortimer also appears in a random acre and gives the player a bass boat-wrap sushi.

- Tanabata (July 7) — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player a tanabata palm.
- Summer Day (July 20) — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player a life ring.
- Morning aerobics (July 25 – August 31) — Copper conducts aerobics exercises at the shrine each morning, with Tortimer and four villagers in participation. The player can perform the exercises with
, and Tortimer gives them an exercise card if spoken to. If the player checks in with Tortimer on 14 separate days of morning aerobics, he gives them an aerobics radio.
August[edit]
- Morning aerobics (each day from July 25 – August 31) — See July section.
- Fireworks Festival (each Saturday in August) — A fireworks display is held, which is visible reflected in the lake. Villagers gather around the lake, and Redd runs a stall where he sells either balloons, pinwheels, or fans. Tortimer appears in a random acre and gives the player a three-foot ball.
September[edit]
- Mayor's Day (September 15) — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player a shrine model.
- Autumn Day (September 20 or 21)[nb 2] — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player Katrina's tent.
- Harvest Moon Festival (varying date from September 9 – October 7)[nb 3] — The moon's reflection is visible in the lake. Villagers gather around the lake, and Tortimer gives the player a Tsukimi dango.

- Night of the Thirteenth Moon (varying date from October 6 – November 3)[nb 4] — The moon's reflection is visible in the lake. Villagers gather around the lake, and Tortimer gives the player a moon.
- Fall Sports Fair (second Monday in October) — Villagers compete in four events at the shrine throughout the day. Tortimer also appears and gives the player a autumn championship pennant.
- Mushrooming Season (October 15–25) — Five mushrooms appear throughout town each morning.
- Halloween (October 31) — Villagers dress up as Jack and chase the player, asking for candy, which is sold at Tom Nook's store from October 16 to 30. Jack himself also asks for candy and gives the player an item from the Spooky Series in return. If the player does not give the villagers or Jack candy, they either turn their clothing into a patched shirt, or turn an item in their inventory into a jack-in-the-box or jack-o'-lantern. Tortimer also appears at the shrine and gives the player a police model.
November[edit]
- Night of the Thirteenth Moon (varying date from October 6 – November 3)[nb 4] — See October section.
- Winter Day (November 3) — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player a Snowman.
- Fall Fishing Tourney (each Sunday in November) — Chip appears at the lake to host a fishing competition in which the player competes with villagers to catch the largest bass (either small bass, bass, or large bass). If the player has the record by the end of the event, Chip mails them a Redd- or raffle-exclusive furniture item. Tortimer also appears in a random acre and gives the player a big-catch flag.
- Labor Day (November 23) — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives the player a shop model.
December[edit]
- Toy Day (December 23) — Tortimer appears at the shrine and gives male players a miniature car and female players a dolly.
- Jingle's visit (December 24) — Jingle appears and gives items from the Jingle Series to the player. He only gives out one item to each player, but the player can trick him into giving him up to 10 items by changing their clothing each time. The next day, if the player received at least one gift from Jingle, he also mails them a letter containing Balloon Fight.
- Countdown (December 31) — Villagers gather around the lake alongside a board that counts down to the new year. Tortimer also appears near the lake and gives the player a toshikoshi soba.
Date varies[edit]
- Birthday (set by the player) — Villagers and Mom send the player letters with random gifts, and a villager appears outside the player's house to give them Donkey Kong.
- One Day Sale (random day)[nb 5] — Tom Nook's store holds a sale for one hour, in which Nook gives the player a free balloon and sells one to two rare furniture items. The shop is closed for one hour before and after the sale, which occurs at a random hour between 12 PM and 7 PM.
- Raffle (last day of every month) — The player can enter a raffle at Tom Nook's store using tickets earned throughout the month. Each entry has a 35% chance of winning one of the three exclusive raffle items available.
