Girl's Day is an event in the Animal Crossing series that occurs on March 3. It appears in the Japanese version of Animal Crossing and in Japanese towns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Appearances[edit]
In Doubutsu no Mori+[edit]
During Girl's Day in the Japanese version of Animal Crossing, Tortimer will appear near the shrine. If spoken to, he will give the player a Lovely Phone. In international versions, this item is instead obtained on Mother's Day.
In City Folk[edit]
Although Girl's Day does not appear in Animal Crossing: City Folk, a Girl's Day Wig was distributed in Japan via WiiConnect24 in celebration of the event.
In New Leaf[edit]
In Japanese towns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Isabelle appears in the plaza on Girl's Day and will give the player a Rice Cake if spoken to.
In New Horizons[edit]
Although Girl's Day does not appear in Animal Crossing: New Horizons as a standard event, it appears as a Nook Shopping seasonal event (named Hinamatsuri) beginning in the 1.8.0 Free Update, for the first time being celebrated internationally. From February 25 to March 3, the player can purchase a Blossom Lantern and a Hinaningyo from Nook Shopping.
