The cactus is a houseware furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 2.0 Free Update. As an outdoor item, it will provide an additional 0.5 development points towards the island rating.

The cactus can be obtained from either Nook's Cranny for  1,400 Bells or the Paradise Planning office for  1,300 Poki. The item's flowers can be customized by Cyrus at Harv's Island for  1,000 Bells.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is available for use in designing after completing six vacation homes and the school facility. Anabelle, Apollo, Azalea, Bonbon, Boone, Chabwick, Peanut, Poncho, and Savannah feature this item in their order list when designing their vacation home. The item is also featured in the order list of the restaurant.

In the designing process of Happy Home Paradise, Boone, Poncho, and Savannah require this item to be placed in or outside their vacation home.
