The Djimbe Drum is a furniture item in Animal Crossing. It is part of the Drum Set. The player can interact with this item to play the town tune.

The Djimbe Drum can be obtained from Tom Nook's store for  1900 Bells.[nb 2] It does not have any color for the purpose of fêng shui.

This item appears in the homes of the following villagers: Axel Axel, Cheri Cheri, Chico Chico, Kody Kody, Louie Louie, Rosie Rosie. As a result, if it is not placed on a surface in their house, this item has a chance of being obtained from these villagers when they give the player an item.

Version differences

In Doubutsu no Mori, the Djimbe Drum is erroneously known as シャンベ. This is corrected to ジャンベ in Doubutsu no Mori+ and Doubutsu no Mori e+.

Notes

  1. Each item belongs in one of three rarity groups (A, B, or C), and each group is mapped to a rarity when the town is created. For example, in one town Group A furniture may be common while in another town, Group A furniture will be rare.
  2. As a standard item available from Tom Nook's store, this item is also available from the following sources: Redd; the dump; shaking trees; gifts from villagers, campers, and Mom; the player's birthday; Wisp; Chip; balloons (if the item's rarity group is rare); Sale Day (if the item's rarity group is rare); and Booker's lost and found (if the item's rarity group is common)
