The drapery is a customizable ceiling decor furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 2.0 Free Update. As a ceiling decor item, it cannot be placed on the same location as a partition wall or a pillar.

The drapery can be obtained from either Nook's Cranny for  1,600 Bells or the Paradise Planning office for  1,400 Poki. The item's color pattern can be customized either by using 1 customization kit or by Cyrus at Harv's Island for  1,000 Bells. When customizing the item's color pattern, the player can use one of Sable's patterns or their own custom designs.

No villagers have this item in their home.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Baabara, Celia, Daisy, Ione, Julian, Lucy, Melba, Monique, Pancetti, Penelope, Poppy, Reneigh, Victoria, and Whitney. The item can also be unlocked when tasked by Lottie to design the apparel shop.

After unlocking this item in Happy Home Paradise, the item can be purchased from Wardell's catalog.

Trivia

• When sending the drapery to a friend via Nook Shopping, the name in the message will appeared censored as "d*ry". This is due Nintendo's censoring system redacting the word "rape" from the "drapery" name.
