The Famicom is a miscellaneous item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 3.0 Free Update. As a miscellaneous item, it can be placed on either the ground or on the surfaces of tables and other similar furniture items that have surfaces for items. The player can interact with this item to play Clu Clu Land provided they have an active Nintendo Switch Online membership.

The Famicom can be obtained from the hotel's souvenir shop for  500 Hotel Tickets. The item is available to purchase after completing the VIP room tutorial for the island's hotel and obtaining at least 400 points from designing VIP rooms or completing DIY requests.[1]

No villagers have this item in their home.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Tulin.

The Family Computer (ファミリーコンピュータ?), or commonly known as the Famicom (ファミコン?), is a video game console released by Nintendo in Japan on July 15, 1983, in Taiwan in 1987, and in Hong Kong in 1991. The console contains a palette of primarily red, gold, and white, with two controllers that are hard-wired to the system. One of the controllers also has a built-in mic. Originally the Famicom launched with controllers featuring soft square buttons, but due to it being easily worn down they were replaced that same year with hard round buttons.[2]

Since its launch, the Famicom has sold more than 19.35 million units before being discontinued on September 25, 2003. In the West, the console was localized, redesigned, and re-marketed as the Nintendo Entertainment System.
