The floating block is a houseware furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 1.8.0 Free Update as part of the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. It is part of the Mario Series. The floating block floats in the air, allowing the player to walk below it. This item is based on the Brick Block, an object in the Super Mario series that can be broken or hit to reveal contain coins or power-ups. The item's top surface can be used to place smaller items, such as miscellaneous furniture.
The floating block can be obtained from Nook Shopping for 1,000 Bells since March 1, 2021.
No villagers have this item in their home.
In Happy Home Paradise, no villagers or facility unlock this item for designing. It can only be used once the player's catalog is unlocked after completing the 27th vacation home.
