The olive-flounder meunière is a miscellaneous furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 2.0 Free Update. As a miscellaneous item, it can be placed on either the ground or on the surfaces of tables and other similar furniture items that have surfaces for items. The olive-flounder meunière is edible and by eating it, the player will earn five energy points to be able to relocate trees or break rocks.

The olive-flounder meunière can be obtained from cooking, which requires olive flounder and flour. The recipe for this item can be obtained from the Turkey Day Recipes pack, from either Franklin or Nook's Cranny for  9,800 Bells.

No villagers have this item in their home.

In Happy Home Paradise, no villagers or facility unlock this item for designing. It can only be used once the player's DIY catalog is unlocked after completing the 15th vacation home.

Trivia

  • The olive-flounder meunière was previously added in version 1.6.0 as the fish meunière, and was a Turkey Day dish that was unobtainable and was only used as a model. On northern hemisphere islands, the meunière could be created by Franklin after the player gives him a sea bass and either a dab, olive flounder, or red snapper. On southern hemisphere islands, the meunière could be created by Franklin after the player gives him a sea bass and either an olive flounder or red snapper. Since version 2.0, flour was added as an ingredient option and can be chosen as a second ingredient for the sea bass.
