The spooky rug is an item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 1.5.0 Fall Update. It is part of the Spooky Series. As a rug item, it can be placed inside the houses of villagers, the player, Photopia on Harv's Island, a vacation home in Happy Home Paradise, or in the Room Sketch app.
The spooky rug can be obtained from villagers if Candy or a Lollipop is given to them.
No villagers have this item in their home.
In Happy Home Paradise, no villagers or facility unlock this item for designing. It can only be used once the player's catalog is unlocked after completing the 27th vacation home.
