As a miscellaneous item, it can be placed on either the ground or on the surfaces of tables and other similar furniture items that have surfaces for items.

The Turkey Day decorations can be obtained from Nook's Cranny from the day after Turkey Day to November 30, from Franklin on Turkey Day, or from crafting, which requires 2× softwood, 5× clump of weeds, and 2× clay. The recipe for this item can be obtained from the Cozy Turkey Day DIY item, where the default variant crafted is determined by the hemisphere of which the player is in. Fall harvest is the default variant crafted by players in Northern Hemisphere islands, while Spring blooming is the default variant crafted by players in Southern Hemisphere islands. The item's theme can be customized either by using 1 customization kit or by Cyrus at Harv's Island for  1,000 Bells.

No villagers have this item in their home.

In Happy Home Paradise, no villagers or facility unlock this item for designing. It can only be used once the player's DIY catalog is unlocked after completing the 15th vacation home.
