The yellow argyle rug is an item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. As a rug item, it can be placed inside the houses of villagers, the player, Photopia on Harv's Island, a vacation home in Happy Home Paradise, or in the Room Sketch app.

The yellow argyle rug can be obtained from Saharah either by selecting the "Large rug" option when Saharah is visiting the player's island for  2,000 Bells or from Saharah's Co-Op on Harv's Island for  2,400 Bells.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Curly and Sally.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Anchovy, Doc, Tucker, Victoria, and Willow. The item can also be unlocked when tasked by Lottie to design the hospital.
