Nintendo Directs are online video presentations by Nintendo that showcase upcoming games and other releases. First released in 2011, multiple Nintendo Directs are typically aired every year at non-regular intervals, and the Animal Crossing series has been featured in several presentations.

In addition to standard Nintendo Directs that encompass all of Nintendo's releases, there are occasionally certain game- or subject-specific Directs, including multiple for various Animal Crossing games. The latest Nintendo Direct to feature the Animal Crossing series was the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct on October 15, 2021.
