Nomination I am a very active user here on nookipedia. I edit with my best intend, and always try my best to make the wiki better. I have 886 edits, with 276 edits in mainspace. I always have a positive attitude. I have uploaded a bunch of images and included them to pages that need them. If I become part of the staff, I will help contribute even better, assist users, and patrol other's edits. Since there are only a few active patrollers on Nookipedia today, I believe that nookipedia will become a better wiki, if I, Acnh Player, become a patroller here. I believe that Nookipedia should be a great place with many, happy editors. I also play animal crossing every day, and I know a lot about it. Also, please see my Awesome contribs. While I appreciate your determination in improving the wiki, your edits so far have had several issues, and the staff regularly have to either undo or correct your edits. Many of these issues have been pointed out to you on your talk page. Let me be clear that your edits are not bad, but continue to require explanations, changes or corrections from staff. I think if you continue to provide edits that improve the wiki, you can become properly accustomed and knowledgeable about the standards here. Additionally, I am not sure why you would need to be a patroller anyway— it is not a mere badge of honor or status, but a set of tools granted to editors who stand to assist the wiki with them. You can be a constructive, respected editor without needing these specific abilities. (While the details differ there, I am fond of Wikipedia's analogy of wiki administrators to janitors: you get some special tools and keys to help out, but you also have to clean up after everyone else.) The amount of messages left by staff regarding your conduct plus the needlessly canvassing of staff to get in your favor and a contribution list that is small, yet not contributive. Even if you have the role bestowed upon you, it is a commitment that you have to do. While you do edit with good intentions, it is clear that you are not fit for the role, given the amount of clarifications on your talk page from other staff. Additionally, as Chubby Bub has stated already, becoming staff is not a requirement to be a good editor, and the patroller status should not be taken in the regard of a certificate. You shouldn't need to apply for a set of tools when you don't really need them. While you do meet the criteria, the criteria is also the bare minimum for becoming staff (and it has been discussed as being "too little" on this talk page). The numerous problems already pointed out by others make me uncomfortable handing over the keys at the moment. And although you've uploaded some images recently, your contributions aren't that substantial overall, with the countless reverts of your edits making the edit count look higher than it really is. Still, though it may look intimidating seeing an accumulation of votes against you, it's not the end of the world. This situation can be turned around with enough dedication and care in your edits, and staff tools aren't that big of a deal anyway (as pointed out above). To answer your question, I'd recommend waiting much longer than the minimum of 2 months if you want a realistic chance of success next time. Overall, I feel you are not ready to become a patroller yet. I strongly suggest you follow what everyone has told you and maybe then you'll have a better chance of gaining patroller status. Begging and canvassing for votes (along with the lack of accountability for the other concerns raised above) to me displays a lack of maturity and responsibility needed for being entrusted with these tools. I admire your enthusiasm in contributing to Nookipedia, but I recommend that you work on becoming more knowledgeable and experienced with our editing and conduct standards. You also need to learn to accept and respond to criticism. As staff, even we make mistakes from time to time. We're just regular people after all, but nonetheless we have taken on responsibility here and are accountable for our actions. I'm not satisfied that you would be suitable based on how you've deflected every challenge made here in this very application. Outside of that, I don't see anything in your contributions that merits the need for you to have these tools at this point in time. I've noticed that the advice is sometimes ignored and the poor editing habits continue anyways. Despite your uncivil comments, staff have always responded respectfully to try to gently inform you of these issues, and you respond in turn with more begging and more arguing. Your behavior makes you unfit to be a patroller, and your edits still need to be monitored. Also outside of the wiki, you've painted Nookipedia in a poor light by bothering staff members on Wikipedia, where you similarly showcased poor editing behavior. Nomination HylianAngel has done a fantastic job on her work at Nookipedia, including but not limited to: villager information and general housing info, general maintenance, Pocket Camp information, and furniture sets. She has also aided with external wiki relations in regards to copyright and helped many users with gaining familiarity with Nookipedia's policies. My reason for a weak support at this time is that Pancham regularly engages with other wiki and Animal Crossing communities, which is great, but I would like to see a bit more finesse and patience in their public discussions regarding NIWA, copyright, and other websites, which reflect back on Nookipedia as a whole. Nomination I am pursuing this rank as I believe that the abilities that patrollers have will ultimately help my organizational projects, such as Project Purge or other naming conventions such as updating templates and the names of files involved with them. Seeing as how my edits are often numerous, being able to move without redirects removes a lot of work placed on other members to delete them, as well as delete gif->png conversions. Lastly, I view Recent Changes very frequently, and as such will correct vandalism as soon as it occurs. I would be happy to answer any questions if posed.

His contributions here are excellent as well (Project Purge is extremely detailed!) I'm not going to say here exactly what they are, because I don't think Trig wants this subject to follow him around. Nomination: Dorsal Axe has done incredible work since joining the wiki, especially in the area of template updates and design. It's not often that a single editor's work affects nearly every single page, but Dorsal's work on templates has done exactly that. Their impact can be seen site-wide, and I think it's safe to say that Nookipedia would not look as awesome as it does today without Dorsal Axe. Nomination: Considering that there are currently only two Patrollers in the Staff, and one of them is inactive as of the moment, it is believed that we could benefit of having another one on board. It has been around a year since I've been in Nookipedia, with some of my contributions being revamping Look, uploading photos for Forgery/Spotting a Fake (New Leaf), tweaking Category:Calendar templates, and scripting to facilitate the upload of media in Category:Animal Crossing: Wild World furniture items. While I could not claim to be around in the wiki all the time, being a Patroller would allow me to have access to tools that could help me make Nookipedia better—or at least less vandal-ridden. >Decomposer 08:05, January 4, 2020 (EST)
