Scanning both sides of this card while the Game Boy Advance is not connected to Animal Crossing starts the Animal Relay A minigame, which requires the player to scan Character Cards. Three passwords can be unlocked by reaching certain criteria in the game.

Mailing the passwords

Typing one of the minigame's passwords into a letter and mailing it to any villager causes Tom Nook to send the player a letter after two more days of playing. The item contained differs between passwords:

1. Bus stop
2. Mario trophy
3. Station model 14
