Is there any official source that claims that Phineas is indeed a sea lion? Phineas's PAL English trophy description in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U calls him a "fur seal" (which is considered a different animal than the sea lion) and one of his IDs is fsl, which very likely stands for "fur seal".
