I don't think this is a flower hat jellyfish

All of the Jellyfish information is now on the Moon Jellyfish page because they are the same species. HylianAngel (talk) 16:36, November 6, 2022 (EST)

Currently this page's "real-world information" section says that this is a "flower hat jellyfish." Now I'm no jellyfish expert, but visually, it does not really look like a "flower hat jellyfish," and it looks more like a moon jellyfish. It has four distinct rings on its head, which is characteristic of the moon jellyfish. (These rings are its four gonads.)

Also here is a screenshot of the Jellyfish in New Leaf. While the Japanese name does not specify that the Jellyfish (クラゲ, kurage) is specifically a Moon Jellyfish (ミズクラゲ, mizu kurage), I'm pretty sure they are identical species based on appearance. Also, neither animal appears in the same game, which leads me to believe it was simply an English and Japanese name change.

While the previous name was indeed generic in nature, this does not alter the fact that the Jellyfish is a specific species of jellyfish, and I am fairly confident it is the moon jellyfish species. I think Jellyfish should be merged with the Moon Jellyfish page, with a note about the name prior to New Horizons. HylianAngel (talk) 01:10, August 4, 2022 (EDT)
