Regarding deletion

I can understand why the delete tag is there, but what about the pages currently using it? ---PinkYoshiFan 10:04, July 28, 2020 (EDT)

I've gone ahead and removed it from the files that had it. In addition to it possibly being destructive, none of them had distracting backgrounds and some were JPGs, meaning they couldn't have transparency anyway. ~ AlexBot2004 (Talk) 11:55, July 28, 2020 (EDT)

Deletion?

So, are we removing this or not? It's not currently used on any file pages. Drago (talk) Drago PC Villager Icon.png 14:49, October 12, 2020 (EDT)

I think that this template could find use, but maybe its text needs to be rewritten to be more specific/adhere to proposed image policies. The policy itself might need some clarification in this regard, as it states "Cropping transparent padding or pure-white backgrounds is acceptable..." and then the next line reads "Removing the background from artwork to make unofficial transparency is not acceptable." What I meant when writing that was that for artwork with padding, it's okay to crop to the content of the image (not remove the background), but I agree it could be reworded. An example of what I mean can be seen here. ~ AlexBot2004 (Talk) 15:21, October 13, 2020 (EDT)
