Template talk:Infobox Special

Issue[edit]

I definitely can't fix this, since the template's restricted, but I noticed that there's an issue with this template and not italicizing games properly (as seen both here and here, as an example). Not sure how the issue's there, since everything seems to be in order and even the template seems to show everything being fine, but I thought I'd bring it to your guys's attention. Thanks for bringing this up! So the caption itself is supposed to be italicized, and the game will appear as non-italicized so that it's oppose the rest of the text. That being said, I also see that there is a trailing apostrophe in the caption...for some reason, moving the italics markdown to outside the small-tags fixes it. Should be fixed now! ~SuperHamster Talk 19:09, March 14, 2020 (EDT)

Needs to be updated.[edit]

Why this template still use a old one? Can it will change or what? - unsigned comment from RDash75 Nook (talkcontribs)

It still needs to be updated to use {{Infobox 2.0}}, yes. These templates can be rather complex, and need time and thought put into them in order to be properly converted, especially given the fact that they also generate Cargo databases based on the information they contain. It's on the to-do list. Sunmarshsignature.png (talk) 11:15, November 5, 2020 (EST)
Actually, the template has already been updated, however it's currently in a transition state, where the old template appears by default unless the new infobox is specified. This allows time for special villager pages to transition over to the new template and also allows us to make sure the new infobox is working as intended.
