Notice of rewriting

I find two problems with this template. The first one is the presence of from the Animal Crossing series. While Nookipedia does primarily cover the Animal Crossing series, there are edge cases such as Villager (SSB), where one would use {{wrongpage|the playable character in [[Super Smash Bros.]]|the playable character in {{SER}}|Player}}:

This article is about the playable character in Super Smash Bros. from the Animal Crossing series. For the the playable character in Animal Crossing series, please see Player.

The second one is the presence of the indefinite article the before {{{2}}}, which leads to "oddities" (see: Photo and Sabertooth Tiger), and limitations (possible use-case is Player, which may use {{safesubst:wrongpage|the playable character in {{SER}}|non-player characters|Villager}}:

This article is about the playable character in Animal Crossing series. For non-player characters, see Villager.

where "the non-player characters" seems a bit more off than "non-player characters".
I write this notice to ask editors, especially senior ones, whether this is a good idea or not, considering that its appearance on many pages will be radically changed.  Decomposer 09:31, March 6, 2019 (EST)

Yeah, I agree, it should be changed, especially with our coverage of Smash Bros. becoming more prominent. If we do change this template, we'll probably have to make some fixes on the articles it appears on. Drago (talk) 11:29, March 6, 2019 (EST)
