It was a long day on the train. Rover heard Katrina was in Aggrons, on of his favorite vacation spots, and he decided to travel there. There was a blue cat on the ride with him. Her name was Rosie. She was heading the same direction as Rover, but she was going to visit the Main Street of Aggrons instead. Rover found himself talking to the other cat. "Hey there" he said confidently. "Hiya, silly!" Rosie replied. "Is it ok if I sit near you?" "Sure!" Rover plopped his cat-like buttoody on the seat across Rosie. "I wonder," he started, "Is it March 25th, 2020 at 12:43 PM?" "Yeah, why?" "Just making sure. By the way, where are you headed?" "Towards Aggrons. I wanna see, like, how the town's been doin, y'know?" "Neat! I'm also heading towards Aggrons. You're Rosie, right?" "The one and only! And you're Rover?" "Yeah, that's me!" He chuckled. They talked for quite some time until the train neared the stop. "I guess this is where we part, huh? Well, it was real nice talking with ya', Rosie!" He went inside Katrina's tent. "Welcome," said Katrina, "I believe you would like to hear your fortune." "I would love too..." said Rover, hearts in his eyes. "Ah yes... that will be 500 bells." Rover gave her the money. "Keeeeeeeeeee hamo-ata..." she began, "Keeee haaaaaamo-atata... YEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeet" The environment changed. "Ah yes... it has come into view. The one you meet on the train, on the way to the one who crushes you, is the one you will be bound with for eternity..." The environment went back to normal as Katrina simply said this: "May good fortune shine upon you... and remember... bad times are just times that are bad." Rover was simply dismissed as he reflected on the words Katrina said, "The one you meet on the train... ...is the one you will be bound with..." It was quite befuddling. Maybe he and Katrina weren't ment to be...? He pondered this awhile, when all of the sudden... BONK! "Ohmiword, like, I'm SOO sorry! I didn't mean to, silly!" "No worries, it's fine..." he said as he lifted himself up, only to see that right in front of him was... Rosie. "Rover! Ohmiword! Is that you! This is, like, CRAY!" "Yeah, real crazy!" he said quite awkwardly. "So... um..." he kinda blushed. ('Why am I so awkward?!? I should be normal! It's probably Katrina's fault for such a confusing riddle about love.') he thought, not realizing he said all of that out loud. "Wait, WHAT?!? SHE, LIKE, GAVE YOU LOVE RIDDLE?!? That is TOTALLY cray-ZAY!" "How did you know?!? Oh wait, did I say that out loud?!? Man, I'm really falling apart!" he said, laughing it off, as usual. "Yep. Totally did, silly!" They laughed in chorus. "So, like, what was the love riddle, silly?" "'The one you meet on the train, on the way to the one who crushes you, is the one you will be bound with for eternity...' Weird right?" "You sure that was the riddle, silly? That sounded like total nonsense. But, whatever, Katrina is so totally wise, so I'm sure we'll find out what it means." "I hope. Wouldn't want to live with a lasting question! Myahahaha!" They talked about the riddle some, then randomly went to the latest train gossip. They talked until almost midnight, when Rover remembered he needed to head back to the train. "Oh. My. I gotta go! It's past time for my train! I've gotta go!" "Aww... goodbye, silly! Let's talk again sometime!" The next day, Rover was riding the rails when his ol' pal Bekahboo hopped on. "Hey, Ro!" "Hey there, Bekahboo!" "Wassup? You seem slightly more cheerful than usual. Did Katrina go out with you?" "Actually, I'm not sure! I guess it's because of Rosie... she's the best! We get along quite well." He said, unnoticingly blushing. "Aww, you're blushing." Said Bekahboo. "Guess you like her, huh?" "Hey, silly! Bekaboo? Long time no SEEE!" "Hi, Rosie! How are you? I'm just hangin' with Ro." said Bekahboo. The train neared a stop when the speaker said, "Now arriving in FunCity. FunCity station." "That's m' leave. Seeya later, Ro!" Bekahboo left the train. It was just them. Just Rover and Rosie. "So, Rosie, how are you?" "I'm totes a-okaay, silly! You?" "I'm good." Rover said with a smile. "I really enjoy being with you." "Me too, silly!" That's when Rover realized... "The 'one you meet on the train' is you, the 'one who crushes you' is Katrina, and 'bound with for eternity' means... we're meant to be!" "Ohmiword! THIS IS AWESOME! I totally knew she had some wise words up her sleeve." said Rosie, pridefully. After that day, they lived happily ever after.
