We're glad that you've chosen to create an account! You are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Animal Crossing encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some things to keep in mind when editing pages:

  • Read our wiki's editing, general use, and privacy policies.
  • Create your user page! Your user page is your own personal space to put anything you want.
  • Make effective edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't 'edit war', or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links and tutorials, please see the help pages.

If you're looking for some place to start, why not check out the Community Fountain? Here you will find current events and things to do.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask a wiki staff member, or at the Community Fountain talk page. We're always happy to help! Have a great time! -- Nookipedia Staff

Gallery tag[edit]

Hiya, thank you for the revision on the personality pages. I just have one note - we're trying to use <gallery class="center"> instead of <center><gallery> . If you could use that, that'd be great! Thank you! ♥ Paviinka (talk) 17:19, April 20, 2020 (EDT)

Sure thing. Thank you for the heads up! Elephants101 (talk) 17:28, April 20, 2020 (EDT)

Project Villager[edit]

Hi there,
I see that you want to improve on Margie's article. I'd like to let you know about the Project Villager. We don't update the content yet, but you could probably chime in with what you want to introduce (like the design origin and such).
Also nice knowing you do zoology on a professional level, I was wondering if you're just too interested in all the animals or what's up. That's amazing. I can handle few pigeons but that's it haha. PaviinkaPapa Bear WW Model.png(Message me!) 04:02, May 5, 2020 (EDT)

Hello!
Thanks for directing me to Project Villager. Part of the reason why I started writing on my user-page instead of editing Margie's article is because part of what I would want to change is outside the scope of what seems standardized for villager pages. I wouldn't have made a substantial revision without first seeing how other users felt in the discussion page for Margie's article. I can elaborate more later in Project Villager, but I think having a dedicated "Origins" section for all villager articles would be beneficial. I wrote about Margie just because I like her and I thought her article would be a good example to show what I would be suggesting. Bulbapedia does something similar for Pokémon species.
Also, thank you ^-^ I've loved animals since I was a very young kid, and its a passion that has stayed with me all my life. I'm interested in all species, but I professionally am most involved in taxonomy, mammals, birds, fish, arthropods, and marine mollusks. I formally worked (and am currently still heavily involved with) iNaturalist. – Elephants101 (talk) 15:04, May 5, 2020 (EDT)
