Welcome to Nookipedia, Imjon!

We're glad that you've chosen to create an account! You are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Animal Crossing encyclopedia.

If you haven't yet, you're also invited to join us at our Discord icon Discord server, where you'll find other Animal Crossing fans and wiki editors.

Before you jump into editing, here are some helpful things to keep in mind:

  • Read our wiki's editing, general use, and privacy policies.
  • Create your user page! Your user page is your own personal space to put anything you want.
  • Make effective edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't 'edit war', or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links and tutorials, please see the help pages.

If you're looking for some place to start, why not check out the Community Fountain? Here you will find current events and things to do.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask a wiki staff member, or at the Community Fountain talk page. We're always happy to help! Have a great time! -- Nookipedia Staff

Hey there - I'm Kevin, a staff member here. Awesome job so far, we appreciate your edits! If you ever have questions or need help, feel free to ask me or any other staff members (though you seem pretty well and experienced already). Cheers, ~SuperHamster Talk 09:10, 7 July 2013 (EDT)

Thanks for the warm welcome, Kevin! I've been in need of a good timesink online, and wiki editing will fill that void perfectly. I miss it, honestly. — imjon (talk) 14:46, 7 July 2013 (EDT)
I thought the name sounded familiar, I too have been on StrategyWiki though I only spent a good few weeks there. I left mainly due to not really finding much too edit, but anyway, enough about myself. Welcome to the wiki and thanks for the great edits I have been seeing around the wiki! :) -mlnintendo97 15:12, 11 July 2013 (EDT)

Hey Jon - if you're interested, I'd be glad to nominate you for a Patroller position. You've done great work in the past few weeks, and I'm sure you'll find the tools handy. Just let me know what you think. ~SuperHamster Talk 14:18, 11 July 2013 (EDT)

That would be really handy and I'd gladly accept the position. But know that I've been here for literally 4 days, if that needs to be taken into account. — imjon (talk) 15:32, 11 July 2013 (EDT)
That is true, and would be the only hesitation - though you have proven to be a great editor, and you do have past editing experience in a related wiki :) ~SuperHamster Talk 15:49, 11 July 2013 (EDT)
A usergroup just for me? How sweet~ :) — imjon (talk) 17:17, 12 July 2013 (EDT)
Trustee certainly isn't enough for you ;) As the current apps have cleared out, I've nominated you to become our latest Patroller. No doubt you'll make good use of the tools. Cheers, ~SuperHamster Talk 02:04, 17 July 2013 (EDT)
Awesome, thanks for the nom. — imjon (talk) 13:49, 17 July 2013 (EDT)

Hey Jon - your app has finally been approved and you are now our latest patroller - congrats :) I'm sure you'll make good use of the tools. Any questions, feel free to ask, ya-da-ya-da you know how it goes. Cheers, ~SuperHamster Talk 00:56, 23 July 2013 (EDT)

P.S. Oh, and feel free to put up an avatar for yourself over at the Patroller page. ~SuperHamster Talk 01:01, 23 July 2013 (EDT)

Awesome! Thanks for the promotion. First thing I did was toss up an avatar, hehe.
And as you might've seen on my userpage, I'm going to be busy for the duration of the week but I should be back to normal editing this weekend. Thanks again. — imjon (talk) 01:05, 23 July 2013 (EDT)

Hey Imjon, mlnintendo97 here. I wanted to remind you on the importance of patrolling the wiki. Patrolling is simple, but it is really important to the wiki. As a patroller on the wiki, you are to look for spam and vandalizing edits. All you have to do is go on the Recent Changes page and look for new edits that have yet to be marked as patrolled. What I recommend is to hide edits from Bots and edits that have already been marked as patrolled. I can't wait to see how you do with patrolling and if you have any other questions, please contact me on my talk page. Thanks! -mlnintendo97 01:58, 11 August 2013 (EDT)
