We're glad you've taken the step to create an account and edit our wiki! With an account you'll now be able to easily edit pages, participate in discussions, watch pages, track your edits, and have access to additional editing tools. You can also create and edit your own user page.

If you intend to continue editing, here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Read our wiki's general use and editing, and privacy policies.
  • Preview your changes before saving them to avoid the need for making corrections afterwards.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes instead of undoing or reinstating changes repeatedly without discussion.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This code will automatically leave your name and a timestamp.

You can find editing tutorials and further information about our policies on the help pages.

Where to start? Check out the The Roost for the latest discussions, or consult the to-do list on the Main Page to see tasks that need to be worked on.
Questions? Feel free to ask a member of staff directly, post your question on the The Roost talk page, or ask about it on our Discord icon Discord server. We're always happy to help!

Good work[edit]

I just want to say nice job on the flower article! We appreciate these kind of contributions to our wiki, so, thanks again! :) Mario Sigpic.png MarioTalk to-a me! 19:30, December 19, 2013 (EST)

Seconded! Great work. ~SuperHamster Talk 19:58, December 19, 2013 (EST)

Just want to let you know, if you're adding red image links, try to fill them in as soon as possible; it doesn't look nice to have a red file link next to the text. Okay? Thanks for reading, and keep contributing! :) Mario Sigpic.png MarioTalk to-a me! 19:28, December 26, 2013 (EST)

Moving "Uchi" to "Tomboy"[edit]

I do not support your decision to move from "Uchi" from Tomboy. There is not enough evidence to support this, with petitions being your only source. However, Smug villagers, according to the petitions, also refer themselves as "Hipsters", so I don't think petition names are a reliable source for English names for a villager personality. There were earlier times when I thought "Caring" would be fitting, but there's no evidence to support that name. So apparently there's not enough evidence to support that "Tomboy" is their personality. Then again, I guess we can also look into the Japanese version of that petition and see if there's anything in there that says "Uchi", if so... then it could confirm that "Tomboy" could be the English name for "Uchi". It could be the same for the Smug personality, I'm not exactly sure, they could be called "Hipsters" in the English version and "Smug" in the Japanese version. Unless there is someone who has the Japanese version of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, we'll never know about it. But anyways, thanks for letting me know. Should we revert back to "Uchi" or should we keep it on "Tomboy"? —Platinum Lucario (talk) 09:09, March 1, 2014 (EST)
I'm going to revert it until we can get additional information. Right now, "Uchi" is the confirmed type, right? "Tomboy" needs more information, and I believe that "Uchi" is more used that Tomboy (like on message boards). Mario Sigpic.png MarioTalk to-a me! 13:40, March 7, 2014 (EST)
