Thanks. I really was part of the MarioWiki (under a different username), and it's a really big and busy place compared to here. Your town is Gregburg, isn't it? Mine is Wariot®♪ and my character is a female named ♀Mario®€ while Baby Luigi's (my sibling) character name is «Thing»™.

Of course the Super Mario Wiki is a big place. I've made, what 9,000+ edits to it, was frequently involved in discussions, created major articles, and yet I'm not even trustee/autopatrolled yet. Their system of promoting users relies on administrators' choosing who they want, which is flawed and can potentially promote elitism. The users there also focus on what wrong things users have been doing instead of recognizing people for their hard work. Here, when somebody works hard, it's appreciated more because there are less people here, therefore, there are less contributors. There are advantages and disadvantages for big wikis.

Still, some administrators in Super Mario Wiki are nice and intelligent even though they are very busy and tend to overlook what regular users have done. Mario^{Talk to-a me!} 20:25, October 25, 2013 (EDT)

The people at MarioWiki don't like it when people edit their userspace a lot, though. You have to keep that in mind. You will get a template and even a temporary block if you ignore them. They're not being bad, though; they just encourage you to be productive because MarioWiki isn't a friends' site. Mario^{Talk to-a me!} 13:51, October 28, 2013 (EDT)

Don't worry about the late reply. I tend to do this quite often. After all, we can't devote our time to waiting and waiting until we get a reply. When I was new to wiki editing, I edited my userpage often as well. I was quite knowledgeable about grammar, though, and I started to heavily expand on some articles. Back then, they didn't seem to worry that I was making a lot of edits to my userpage, and I didn't get warned by that for some reason. They seem to be a more loose about userspace edits. I'm not sure about your edits and all, but threatening people to block them just because they make many userspace edits will discourage people from editing the mainspace. Unless they are ignoring their informal reminders and all... Either way, there has to be a way to address this problem because I think people that are new to wiki editing will probably be excited and edit their userspace a lot before heading to the main space. I don't know exactly your contributions to the Super Mario Wiki, so I don't know if your warnings are justified or not. New Leaf is my only game, and I haven't played it for a few days.
