We're glad that you've chosen to create an account! You are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Animal Crossing encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some things to keep in mind when editing pages:

  • Read our wiki's editing, general use, and privacy policies.
  • Create your user page! Your user page is your own personal space to put anything you want.
  • Make effective edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't 'edit war', or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links and tutorials, please see the help pages.

If you're looking for some place to start, why not check out the Community Fountain? Here you will find current events and things to do.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask a wiki staff member, or at the Community Fountain talk page. We're always happy to help! Have a great time! -- Nookipedia Staff

Welcome![edit]

Hey there - I'm Kevin, a staff member here. Welcome to the wiki, and thanks for all your foreign name translations so far. They're a great touch to the villager articles :) If you ever need help or have questions, feel free to ask me or any other staff member. Cheers, ~SuperHamster Talk 23:58, 25 July 2013 (EDT)

Hello, and thanks - probably will continue to add French translations as I meet new villagers, fish and all Z-4195 00:45, 26 July 2013 (EDT)

Foreign names[edit]

Hey, you're doing really well with those French translations of the villagers, fish, and other things. Thanks for all this help! I just have one note on when you add the translations. Make sure you place the template after the main content on the villager/other thing's article; this includes the gallery. The only exceptions for this placement are the trivia and "See also," which stay below the foreign name template. Also, if the space of the template is crammed in between one topic, use the template {{clear}} at the end of the first topic to make some more space. Again, thanks for all the help! --Wookiee123 08:10, 28 July 2013 (EDT)

Hello, and thanks for the advice. I admit, I'm a beginner on MediaWiki syntax Z-4195 08:17, 28 July 2013 (EDT)
