The mini daruma (ミニダルマ?) is a furniture item in Doubutsu no Mori, Doubutsu no Mori+, and Doubutsu no Mori e+. It is part of the Daruma Set in Doubutsu no Mori and Doubutsu no Mori+. The player can interact with this item to turn it on and off, and it can be placed on the surface of tables and other similar furniture that have surfaces for items. It is replaced by the white face makeup egg in Dòngwù Sēnlín.

The mini daruma can be obtained from Tom Nook's store for  800 Bells.[nb 2] For the purpose of fêng shui, its color is red.

In Doubutsu no Mori, this item appears in the homes of Hambo, Lucky, Paolo, and Rasher.

In Doubutsu no Mori+, this item appears in the homes of Hambo, Lucky, Paolo, and Rasher.

For villagers who have this item placed on the floor in their house, there is a chance that the villager will gift it to the player.

Version differences

In Doubutsu no Mori e+, the Daruma Set was removed, so the mini daruma is not part of any furniture collection.

Leftover dummy item

The dummy model used by unused items in Animal Crossing.

In Animal Crossing, the mini daruma is still leftover in the game data as a dummy item, unobtainable without gameplay modification or glitches. It has the unused name "mini-dharma" and uses the dummy model, a white triangle with red Japanese text reading ダミー (damī, dummy). Its name was also translated to other languages in the European version of Animal Crossing, with the name "minidaruma" in Spanish, "mini-bouddha" in French, "Mini-Dharma" in German, and "minidharma" in Italian.
