Template:Infobox Painting The Solemn Painting is based upon Diego Velázquez's Las Meninas, an oil on canvas painting depicting members of the Spanish court, painted in 1656. It is one of the most analysed paintings in western culture due to its composition. It first appeared in Animal Crossing: Wild World and was also available in Animal Crossing: City Folk.
