The Pike (パイク, Paiku) is an uncommon fish that appears from fall to early winter, from 4 AM to 9 PM. It is found in rivers and sells for 1,800 Bells. It appears in Animal Crossing: City Folk and Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

The Esox Lucius, or Northern Pike, is one of the two living species of the Esox family. The other one being the Muskellunge or Musky. They can live up to 30 years of age. A pike's diet consists mainly on small shoal fish, insects, amphibians, small mammals (like moles and mice), and even small birds like ducklings can be a target. They have also been known to be cannibalistic, sometimes feeding on smaller pike. Pike can be found in North America and Europe.
