In Animal Crossing: Wild World, the player had the option to change their haircut. They have to have a friend visit their town and purchase an item from Nookway, then the store will upgrade to Nookington's, which will have the Shampoodle inside. There you can get your hair changed. In Animal Crossing: City Folk, the Shampoodle returns, you will have to travel to the City and Shampoodles will be on the right-side of town. Both games, you will have to pay 3,000 bells to get your hair done, and it can only be done once per day. In Animal Crossing: City Folk, Harriet, operator of Shampoodles, will also give you a Mii Mask when you ask for a makeover. Upon receiving all hairstyle of your gender, you may start to receive hairstyles of the opposite gender.
