The Insect Set is a furniture set of bug-themed items introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which is obtained from Nat during the Bug-Off in summer. The furniture pieces are shaped to resemble various bugs found in the Animal Crossing series. The Butterfly Wall and Ladybug Carpet complement the set, however, they are not considered as part of the set for HHA score calculation purposes.
Obtaining the set
If the player gives Nat an entry that breaks the first-place record during the Bug-Off, and the bug scores at least 80 points on his rating scale, he will reward the player with an item from the Insect Set. However, if the bug breaks the first-place record but scores 79 points or less, he will simply give the player an ordinary furniture item found in Timmy and Tommy's store instead.
