The Acorn Festival is an event in Animal Crossing: Wild World that starts on the Monday of the second week of October and ends on the following Sunday. Cornimer will be outside the town hall all week (preventing special visitors other than K.K. Slider appearing), and he uses his powers to randomly spread acorns around the player's town under non-fruit and non-cedar trees (oak trees). The amount of acorns acquired under each tree varies, and dropped items or designs around the trees may prevent them from appearing.

To improve the chance of collecting all 230 acorns needed, the player can plant as many oak trees as possible before and during the Acorn Festival.

Rewards

After collecting the acorns, the player can hand them in to Cornimer in exchange for furniture from the Mush Series. Cornimer will be standing outside the town hall and will keep track of all the acorns handed to him, providing a piece of furniture every time a certain acorn count is reached in accordance to the following guide:
