The Roost café is a café in Animal Crossing: New Leaf similar to The Roost in Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk. Run by Brewster, it serves various blends of coffee that you can choose for 200 Bells after drinking 4 cups you are given the option to take it to go and drink it around town, one cup purchasable per day. Special characters and villagers will sometimes be found in the café as in previous games but now you may have villagers visit from another town. The player may also now get a part time job at the café after having 7 cups of coffee by talking to Brewster while standing to the right side of the bar.

Part Time Job
At The Roost Café, you can get a part time job after you've had 7 cups of coffee. During your job you will have a random selection of 4 villagers (from your town or not) come and get coffee. Each animal has a combination of the three ingredients (coffee beans, milk, and sugar.) that they like best. If you satisfy the customers you serve you will be awarded from Brewster with coffee beans and as you continue to keep customers happy, Brewster will reward you with café style furniture items including special Brewster gyroids.

Coffee Beans
Every time you work Brewster will reward you with coffee beans you can sell or place in your house, there are three types. Plain coffee beans, good coffee beans, and very good coffee beans. Each can be sold for a different amount of bells.
Furniture
The café themed furniture is rewarded by the total number of happy customers you've made. The list bellow shows the furniture and the number of correct orders needed.
