The current template uses the [https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/center obsolete <code><nowiki><center></nowiki></code> tag]. This could be improved by using the <code><nowiki><div style="text-align:center"></nowiki></code> tag, as demonstrated in my [[User:Decomposer/Sandbox/Center]]. In it contains a demonstration on how it can be integrated in templates, showing that it should not harm functionality. The mobile version of site still transcludes some templates that use this one, which is why the cascading protection shows up.
