Jane's Japanese appearance is likely based on the Ganguro Fad. She has nearly all of the traits-very dark brown skin, pink lipstick and white fur. Bright colors were also associated with this fad, and Jane wears a rainbow shirt and has a house full of bright-colored furniture.
