Template documentation (view)
Usage
This template is to be placed on new users' talk pages by staff members. This template should only be used if the user has made at least one constructive edit. If an anonymous user has made several constructive edits, this template can be placed on their talk page with the IP
parameter.
When used, this template should always be substituted (e.g. {{subst:Welcome}}
) so that the message stays the same on the talk page regardless of changes made to the template. The staff member using the template should place their signature below it. They can also optionally leave a message for the user.
Examples
- Registered users
{{Welcome}}
- Anonymous users
{{Welcome|IP}}
