From Nookipedia, the Animal Crossing wiki
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Critterpedia is an app that lists all insects and fish the player has caught. It serves the same purpose as the Encyclopedia in previous games. However, it also displays whether each critter has been donated to the museum.
