This template lets other users know that you are on vacation and unable to edit the wiki, and advises them to not post messages onto your talk page while you are away.

How to use

Example: {{vacation|date=date you will be returning}}

The user parameter can be used to specify the user going on vacation, otherwise the template will default to the page name it is placed on. If you don't use a named parameter, the template will assume that the first input is the date you will return. e.g. {{vacation|January 1st}}
