:::Ah, gotcha. If there's a compelling reason to change, sure, but it doesn't really matter, either way works. Only reason I could think of as to why we would want to get rid of the redirects would be to avoid putting an extra load on the servers, but as far as I'm aware, the extra load from redirects is so minor it can just be considered non-existent, and if anything, more load would be put on the server as a result of changing a widely-used template (though still a minor load, just being technical).
