Games

Andy's Apple Farm

WARNING: If you plan to look into this game, please note that there are multiple horror aspects, such as distorted faces and hyper-realistic eyes. If either of those make you uncomfortable, please do not play or look into this game.

Andy's Apple Farm is a game available on Steam for $2.99 USD released in November 2021. It is programmed to appear as a game from the 1980's. Introduced as a beta test where glitches should be reported, it follows the story of Andy the Apple playing games with his friends in order to receive a prize, which are the keys to his house. The games Andy plays include:

• A rhythm game with Melody
• A fruit sorting game with Margaret
• A game of "I Spy" with Claus (initially going to be chess before Andy tells Claus he doesn't know how to play chess)
• A fishing game with Felix

After playing the games, Andy's friends tell him that his keys are in the barn, which has the lights out. Inside the barn, Andy must go through a maze without a light source. Once he finds a lantern, he finds Peter the Pumpkin. Peter then asks Andy to play a game of tag, where Andy must catch Peter. Once Andy tags Peter, he must run away from Peter while also collection all the pumpkins on the map. After losing, as victory is impossible, Andy will be sent to a dark room, with his keys sitting right in front of him. Once Andy picks up the keys, various horror elements appear on screen. After they disappear, the credits roll.

Christmas Special

Andy's Christmas Special follows Andy in his home with his friends coming to visit. Andy is required to play more games, in this case, helping get into the Christmas spirit. The games include:

• Taking cookies out of an oven after the time runs out with Margaret
• Hanging "socks" with Felix

Afterward, Andy and his friends open their presents. Andy receives a distorted head. He asks his friends what they gave him, but they were not there. Afterward, Peter the Pumpkin appears. Andy tells Peter he was scaring him, but Peter ignores him. He asks Andy to play a game, but Andy declines. Afterward, Andy is sent to a dark void with his friends, however talking with them shows a human face. Finding Peter triggers a game of tag, however randomly before the game can start, Peter's body grows taller and dark. If Andy gets close to Peter, he will get caught by Peter, who retains his tall body, along with gaining hyper-realistic eyes. The special ends afterward.

I like Andy's Apple Farm because of it's horror aspects; the type of horror in this game is the horror I tend to lean toward the most. I also really like what happens if the player declines Felix's fishing game. He says something about them declining, then his eyes go hyper-realistic as he proceeds to jump-scare the player. If the player talks to Felix again, when he asks them if they want to play a fishing game, the player's only options are yes. What's probably my favorite part of this game is during the picnic scene at the beginning once Andy asks his friends what they're doing.

"Oh, we're just eating right now. Care for an apple?"

Metroid Dread

Metroid Dread is a game for the Nintendo Switch. It follows Samus Aran being sent to planet ZDR to investigate a sighting of the X-Parasites after the E.M.M.I.s lose signal. Samus then discovers the E.M.M.I. have been hacked, making them go after Samus for her Metroid DNA. Samus is ordered to return to the ship, however she must get past all the E.M.M.I. and various obsticles before being able to escape.

I like this game because of the graphics, storyline, the concept of being chased by robots attempting to kill the player, and a whole bunch of other things. I got this game for the holidays in 2021. I was really, REALLY onto this game. Raven Beak was a very hard boss (it took me 4 hours, oops). I really liked the ending, what a series return!

Cookie Run: Kingdom

Cookie Run: Kingdom is an RPG for mobile devices that follows the story of cookies attempting to defeat Dark Enchantress Cookie and foil her plans. As of January 2022, there are 12 worlds in the game. Cookies can be given costumes once obtained, and multiple costumes have effects.

I like Cookie Run: Kingdom because of the characters and it's game modes. My favorites are Kingdom Arena and Guild Battle. I really like how some cookies are better for one game mode than others, such as Vampire Cookie being good for Guild Battle, but not as good for World Exploration.

Characters

Koopa Troopa

Koopa Troopas are turtle-like creatures in the Super Mario series. I like them because they're just cute. In fact, my avatar on this wiki is a Koopa!

Lilac Cookie

Lilac Cookie is an epic cookie in Cookie Run. I really like his design, his skill, everything about him, basically. He's the character on my Discord profile picture!

Raven Beak

Raven Beak is the main antagonist in Metroid Dread. He sent the E.M.M.I. to go after Samus for her Metroid DNA. I simply like his design and boss fight, even if it was very hard.

Felix the Fish

Felix the Fish is one of Andy's friends in Andy's Apple Farm. I like him for his design and personality; when the player is hanging stockings, or as Felix calls them, "socks," if the player moves their cursor to Felix, he says, "Hey, man, do I look like a sock?"
