A Bias is a preconceived opinion about somebody, judging from what they look like or what they do. In Animal Crossing: City Folk, villagers will start to talk to other players about other players. The bias, is usually an idea about them because of what they do and what they wear. For example,

"[Player 1 Name] seems so nice, bet he/she seems like such a [bias opinion]! I really wish to get to know them better."

Villagers will even bias people from other towns.

Getting to know you better

If they get to do know you better, they will not have a bias opinion about you, but who you are. For example,

"[Player Name] is really great! He/she is such a [hobby]! I'm really glad I met that crazy kid from [Town Name]!"

List of Biases

Each bias is either from an activity that you constantly do, or from what you wear.

  • Witchlette - If you wear at one piece of clothing from GracieGrace's witch clothing, they will say that you are a "Witchlette", judging from image.
  • Angelface - If you wear at least the halo from the Able Sisters' shop, villagers will comment on how "Angelfaced" you look.
  • Party Peep
  • Broke Joker - If you do not socialize with much villagers, this is the title you will get from the villagers.
  • Fishing Fan - If you constantly fish, you will get this title.
  • Flyswatter - If you constantly catch bugs, you will get this title.
  • Bloom Bud - If you constantly water flowers or plant them, you will get this title.
