The Megaphone is a tool in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and is colored red and white. Other players and villagers can be located by saying their name into the Nintendo 3DS microphone, which will bring up a message that will direct the player to their location. The Megaphone can also be used to wake up Gulliver when he washes up on the town's beach.
The Megaphone can be purchased from Timmy and Tommy's store for 500 Bells.
