Animal Crossing: Wild World is the second installment of the Animal Crossing series. It was released for North America on December 5, 2005, Australia on December 8, 2005 and Europe on March 31, 2006. It received an 86/100 score from Meta Critic. It also was the first game of the series to be released on a handheld console and is the only one to date (excluding the upcoming 3DS title). It is also the first to use linked play and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection with the use of Friend Codes.
