Featured articles are top-quality articles presented in the main page. They are chosen by our editors. If an article meets or exceeds Nookipedia's featured article quality standards, it can be nominated to be featured. Here are the standards articles must meed or exceed to be considered featured.

The article must... ...be well-written, standard, and encyclopedic. This means there is good grammar, proper spelling, no bias, and no opinions,. ...cover information from all appearances in the Animal Crossing series. Otherwise, the information must be complete. ...be free from all improvement tags (such as {{construction}}, {{cleanup}}) ...contain a reasonable amount of good-quality images. ...have a minimal amount of red links. ...have a long enough lead paragraph to present in the main page. ...have a reasonable length. ...adhere to any article-related policies

Nomination process

As long as any editors are autoconfirmed, they can nominate articles to be featured. They can simply create a subsection in this page. The voting process works similarly to voting on featured images; users use the templates above to vote or make comments. Once they have voted, they must sign their comments with ~~~. Unsigned votes will be deleted. Also, any votes made by unregistered users will be deleted.

Votes can be deleted as administrators and other users see fit. Any fan votes (this character is awesome; this game sucks; this is my favorite village, she should be featured) will be deleted. Also, any votes with invalid reasons (saying the article needs images when it has adequate images) may be deleted.

Once a nomination has at least three support votes and no objections, it has passed. After one week since the nomination has passed, the article will be featured. Once the article is featured, a {{feature}} badge is placed on the top of the article.

Articles can also be removed from their featured status if there is a major flaw or if the article does not maintain changing standards.
