'''Room Sketch''' is an app on the [[NookPhone]] that is only available via the {{HHP|short}} DLC of {{NH}}. When using this app, the player will immediately enter decorating mode and into a specialized room. By default, the room that the player designs is empty, using a {{I|Room Sketch Wall|NH}} and {{I|Room Sketch Flooring|NH}} as the default interiors. The player can use many of the tools available for house customization, such as lighting, window adjustment, room resizing, [[soundscape]]s, and door entryway changes. They can also place items and change the wallpaper and flooring. However, the player cannot use [[polishing]] features.

After the player saves the room, they can then use the saved template for a villager's vacation home on the [[archipelago]] doing the designing process. The player can not use this app if they are not on their own island or on the archipelago, nor can they use the saved template for their villager's house when decorating their house on the main island.

This app is unlocked after visiting the [[archipelago]] on eleven different days and after unlocking all the available soundscapes from [[Wardell]]. [[Lottie]] will immediately send the app to the player when entering the [[Paradise Planning]] office if the requirements are met. This also unlocks the Room Sketch Wall and Room Sketch Flooring in Wardell's catalog.
