At time of writing, Animal Crossing 3DS HAS NOT been confirmed as a launch title for the 3DS, and has not been given any other release date. That date is just their best estimate, which they provide in order to convince people to reserve a copy of the game. As you can see, it's constantly changing as well. The player is facing more to one side when sneaking up to the butterfly in the trailer, for example.
