The track is a homage to {{Wp|the Beatles}}, being mostly based off "{{Wp|I Am the Walrus}}" and the bridge from "{{Wp|Let It Be (Beatles song)|Let It Be}}." The instrumentation of the aircheck version, particularly the mellotron, is similar to "{{Wp|Strawberry Fields Forever}}." The title is a play on "{{Wp|Yesterday (Beatles song)|Yesterday}}," the Japanese name even more so.
